Stilo helmet design I’m working on.
These are progress pictures, at this point, I’m installing the PED kit after painting it.
Installing a PED kit, the rear wing on a helmet, is time-consuming.
It needs to match the design on the helmet exactly to look professionally done.
Before even laying the design out on the helmet you must find the correct position on the helmet the wing will be.
Once you have that the helmet design is painted than the rear wing.
It would be easy to design around the rear wing so no pinstripes cross the wing but that does not always look good.
This design has four pinstripes that cross the wing making it a bit harder to pull off.
Once the wing is painted to match the helmet graphics both the helmet and wing can be clear coated separately.
